hola!

it´s raining here. it´s been raining all day. but it´s ok, i don´t think there would have been much to do anyway.haha...oh, castelldefels.
but it was a good day nonetheless!
i finally got some sleep last night, still not until 2 or 3 am, but i didn´t wake up when my roomie came in at 4:30, so that´s a plus! and i wish i could have slept longer. i definitely was not ready to get up at 9 am. classes were fine. the language was a little harder than i expected, but i think i´ll be okay. the convresation went a lot better than yesterday! the professor didn´t have to tell me to be calm, but instead she seemed to understand everything i said, and responded insteda of correcting me.
i also changed around my classes. i realized yesterday that i had class at 8 am on mondays, and class o nfridays. i realized this would make things difficult for traveling on the weekends. so instead i´m taking only monday through thursday and they interest me more. i´m signed up for way more tha ni can take, so after we get to "shop around", i will know exactly what i´m taking. and that´s not until the 20th or somthing!
i told a girl here that i had a friend studying in copenhagen and that i wanted to try to get up there sometime, and she thought it was so cool that she wants to come too! yay molly! there may be several people who want to go to copenhagen with me. that would be really cool. so i feel better about my schedule in that sense.
the spaniards came down from barcelona to hang ou twith me today!!! yay! it was really nice of them ot make the trip, it was about 30 minutes i think. i asked victor why he wanted to come because it´s rainy here and there´s not much to do in castelldefels. but they came anyway because i have no way to get out of here. they ended up driving me to a little shopping center in a town a little ways over from here. we went into vodaphone to try and sort out my cell phone, and it turns out ian´s phone number expired after lack of use and the cell phone company resold it to someone else. so i have no number, and need to get a new sim card! and of course, being in spain, the vodaphone store didn´t even have any sim cards at the time. so...once i get into barcelona, the boys said they would accompany me again to try and get it sorted once and for all. and some friends want to come too so they can get cell phones. that way we can all stay in touch in the city!
after the mall, we came back here and just chatted in spanish. after a little while more people started sitting with us and there were like 7 or 8 of us talking in spanish with them, getting really good practice. they´re so nice about repeating things, explaining things, and making sure we understand. it´s relaly good. and they told me to call them on saturday so we can all go out together (my friends from here too, of course!). so i´m really looking forwadrd to it.
tonight one of the kids in my group taught a bunch of us how to dance salsa! it was relaly fun because it broke the ice with a lot of guys and girls who hadn´t really met yet. and salsa is fun. of course it wasonly the first lesson so i still don´t know much.
tomorrow we find out about our families! they have one-on-one meetings with us to explain what the family´s like, i guess...
and on friday we finally go to barcelona, meet our families, and then on saturday we move in. i think i´ve already mentioned that...haha.
entonces...i´m going to give the internet to someone else!
